The deadline for inclusion in the 2023 results is July 7; however, the survey will remain open after this date so that you can make updates as needed.
There is no cost to participate.

Participate in our survey on leave programs and provide details on the amount of time off your employees receive for primary caregiver/maternity, secondary caregiver/paternity, dependent care leave, vacation, personal days, volunteer leave, bereavement leave and sabbaticals.
Leave Programs
Primary caregiver/Maternity leave
- Minimum number of months before employee is eligible
- Number of fully paid, partially paid and unpaid weeks that employees receive
- Percentage of pay for partially paid leave
Secondary caregiver/Paternity leave
- Minimum number of months before employee is eligible
- Number of fully paid, partially paid and unpaid days that employees receive
- Percentage of pay for partially paid leave
Dependent care leave
- Minimum number of months before employee is eligible
- Number of fully paid, partially paid and unpaid days that employees receive each year
- Family members covered by leave policy
Vacation leave
- Waiting period before employee is eligible to receive vacation
- Number of weeks provided for the following years of service: 1 year, 5 years, 10 years, 15 years, 20 years
Personal days
- Minimum number of months before employee is eligible
- Number of paid and/or unpaid days provided each year
Volunteer leave
- Minimum number of months before employee is eligible
- Number of paid and/or unpaid days provided each year
Bereavement leave
- Minimum number of months before employee is eligible
- Number of paid and/or unpaid days provided for the death of a spouse/partner, child, parent, other family member
Sabbaticals
- Minimum number of months before employee is eligible
- Number of paid and/or unpaid weeks provided
How do I participate?
To participate, go to the survey and enter your email address to begin participation. You will receive a unique link via email to access your survey submission.
How do I update my submission?
If you have previously participated in the Leave Programs survey, you can return to the survey, and enter your email address to receive the link to your existing survey submission.
Update your submission as needed, and click the Submit button!

If you experience any issues accessing your survey, please contact us.
How will I know that you received my submission?
Once you have clicked Submit to complete the survey, a confirmation email will be sent to you.

If you participate in the survey by July 7, you will receive complimentary results for the markets where you have submitted data. The reports will be available in late September 2023, and results will be provided for those markets where the minimum participation threshold has been met.
